Dear Parents,
With an unusually cold winter that does not seem to relent, we are looking forward to the promise of bright sunshine and spring air just around the corner. Our focus for this month will be on signs of spring, learning about life cycles, spring babies and spring celebrations. We welcome all Dads (and Moms) for Go Western Day on March 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Your child(ren) will be thrilled to have you participate in their class projects. Our Book Fair started this morning with a visit from The Cat in the Hat in honor of Dr. Seuss’ 111th birthday and a mesmerizing book reading by Silvania Poindexter. Be sure to visit the Book Fair in the Art room. March 26th is International Day at the elementary/middle school. Our ECP students are welcome to come dressed in International clothes and visit the exhibits from different countries set up in the gym. This will be a wonderful learning opportunity for all.
